Without giving too much away, the game is about decision making and each time you play, you choose one of three different actions:
- Claim a Train Route
- Collect Train Cards
- Gather Destination Tickets
How To Win Ticket to Ride
The objective of “Ticket to Ride” is to see the most cities in North America in 7 days.
Players will collect train cards enabling them to claim railway routes that connect cities throughout the US.
The longer the routes, the more points each player will earn. If you can fulfill your Destination Ticket by connecting 2 distant cities, you get additional points.
You also get additional points if you build the longest continuous railway.
Ticket To Ride Is An Excellent Family Board Game
For between 2 to 5 players, this board game is for all levels and ages. It is not particularly difficult but can be challenging but is always exciting and lots of fun.
